Lauren Rode is the daughter of Dan and Sue Rode. She is currently senior at Delphos Jefferson High School. She is involved in Student Council, School Musical, Varsity D-Club, Varsity Football and Basketball Cheerleading, Marching and Concert Band, and Cat Scratch Fever Radio Show. Lauren also is a member of the Delphos FFA where she currently holds the office of Reporter. Lauren also volunteers for the Delphos Community Christmas Project and is a member of her church’s youth group. Lauren is employed as an office assistant at Crop Production Services in Delphos and also runs her own business of Rode mums.

Katie Metcalfe is the daughter of Chuck and Elaine Metcalfe. She is currently as senior at Delphos St. Johns High School. Katie is very active in her school and community. She is a member of the St. Johns choir and tutors once a week in kindergarten classrooms at her school. Katie also enjoys volunteering at the Lima Soup Kitchen, Van Wert County Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and the Delphos Relay for Life. Katie has also been a cheerleader for the Blue Jays and played on the Delphos softball league, in addition to being in Girl Scouts for 10 years. Katie is employed at Mary’s A&W and The Creamery.

Raegan Haines is the daughter of Kathleen Haines and Brian & Stacie Haines. She is a senior at Delphos St. Johns High School. Raegan is involved the Missions Society, Liturgy Team, and serves as president to the Junior Optimist. She volunteered at the Lima Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, and has served as a Mass Greeter. Raegan has participated in the Relay for Life and the March for Life in Washington D.C. and has volunteered for a number of years at St. Rita’s Hospital. Raegan is also a member of the Blue Jay Soccer Team.

Amber Miller is the daughter of Mike and Trina Miller and is currently a junior at Delphos Jefferson High School. Amber is a member of the Landeck Church Youth Groups and is a mass server. Amber is active in Cheerleading, Fast Pitch Softball and Delphos Summer League Softball. She is also an active member of FCCLA and is involved in Band, Jazz Band, Choir, and Show Choir. Amber has also been awarded various awards at OMEA District III Solo and Ensemble Contest and received perfect attendance and honor roll awards. Amber has volunteered at St. Rita’s Medical Center, the Delphos Public Library, and the Interfaith Thrift Shop.

Alicia Hempfing is the daughter of Chuck and Sue Hempfling and is currently a senior at Delphos St. Johns High School. Alicia is a member of the National Honor Society and serves on the Student Council. She is also a member of the CRESPI Society, Junior Catholic Daughters of America, Teens Against Substance Abuse, and the Mission Society. She also serves as a lector, greeter, and Eucharistic minister at her church. Alicia is also on the cheerleading and soccer teams at St. Johns. Alicia has studied at the Dancer by Gina for 14 years. Alicia is also very involved in FFA and 4-H, where she serves as a counselor, Buckeye Ambassador, and on the Interstate Exchange Program. Alicia is employed on her family’s dairy farm and tutors.

Kaia Waldick is the daughter of Juergen and Kathy Waldick and is a senior at Delphos Jefferson High School. Kaia is the Vice President of the NHS and the Sentinel of the Delphos FFA. She is also active as a Varsity Cheerleader, band member, and shows livestock at the Allen County Fair. She is also a certified scuba diver. Kaia also volunteers at Trinity United Methodist Church and coaches cheerleading for the Upward program. She also gives her time to the Delphos Community Christmas project and sends care packages to people in the armed forces.

Victoria Recker is the daughter of Fred and Teresa Recker and is a senior at Delphos St. Johns. Victoria is active in Basketball, Soccer, Track, Band, where she serves as vice president, and the school musical. She is also a member of SADD, NHS, the Crespi Society, the Liturgy Team, FTA, and is a Junior Optimist. Victoria was chosen to be a representative at Buckeye Girls State. She is also very active in her church. Victoria is also the president of the Class of 2008. Victoria plans to attend college and major in Music. She is employed at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Delphos St. John’s School, and at the Delphos Public Library.

Taylor Loomis is the daughter of Jeanne and Dennis Loomis and is a junior at Delphos St. John’s. Taylor is active in FTA, Junior Optimist, and SADD. Taylor is also a member of the track and volleyball teams and serves as a football trainer. Taylor has traveled to Australia for a cross-cultural experience. Taylor plans on attending Owens Community College and wants to be a nurse. She is employed at Delphos McDonalds and baby-sits.

Cassie Schimmoeller is a sophomore at Delphos St. Johns. She is the daughter of Jim Schimmoeller and Patty and Richard Shaffer. Cassie is a member of the soccer and track teams and is a competition and basketball cheerleader. Cassie also plays summer softball and coaches younger teams. She is a member of the student council, FTA and the republican club. Cassie also works with the DARE camp and is a greeter at her church. Cassie is employed by the Creamery.
